OPERATOR TRAINING
Crane Certification
Altec offers NCCCO certification prep and testing programs for mobile telescoping boom cranes, digger derricks, articulating boom and service truck cranes. Our instructors deliver personalized help to prepare you for written and practical testing.
Safety Resources
Safety is our top priority at Altec, and it goes beyond designing and building quality products with industry-leading safety features. It is our mission to ensure operators are well-educated and trained to operate the equipment we manufacture, and therefore, we strive to offer the best safety resources and training for those who use our equipment.
On-Site Training
A variety of Instructor-Led and Online training courses are available for aerials, derricks and cranes. These OSHA and ANSI-compliant courses help employers fulfill their operator training requirements. Many programs offer both Operator and Train-the-Trainer Formats.
Online Operator Training
Altec Sentry Online offers more than 100 basic operations courses for cranes, aerial devices, digger derricks and chippers. Through a simple storefront and dashboard, operators can take ANSI-compliant General Training and Familiarization courses without the need for traditional classroom sessions. MAINTENANCE TRAINING
Hands-On Maintenance Training for Service Technicians
Altec Maintenance Training offers specialized training for technicians to give them an understanding of how Altec equipment functions. This allows them to perform maintenance and repairs to the equipment as needed.
Customers can request unit specific and tailored on-site training programs. Additionally, individuals can participate in classes held throughout the year at Altec Service Centers across the United States and Canada.
Online Maintenance Training
In addition to hands-on training options, Altec now offers service training courses online for a variety of equipment types. These online courses include sections that cover: Unit Specifications, Safety, Preventive Maintenance and Inspections, Hydraulic Systems, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems and Troubleshooting.
